A Free OCR is always welcome

For sure that you have ever needed a tool which converts the text in a picture into plain text. Those programs are called OCR (Optic Characters Recognizing) and Free OCR is a god choice, because it does it works very well and it's totally free.

Maybe you need to scan a page of a book and have it in plain text, don't worry. Plug-in your scanner, and select it as input in Free OCR interface. The rest will be done by Free OCR.

Once it scans and analyzes the document, it shows you the result, which can be modified because sometimes it's not as perfect as we wanted it to be.

Of course, it also converts into text any picture stored in your computer, just select it as input and it will do the same job.

We have found only a problem, it doesn't support PDF files. We hope it will support it in the next update.
